Best Beaches in India to Enjoy

Best Beaches in India

India is a country mostly surrounded by sea and has some of the most beautiful beaches that offer everything from parties to solitude. The best beaches in India can be found on the west coast, with Goa being the most popular beach destination in the country. However, there are also many other beaches to consider, especially if one is looking to disconnect from the crowds.

In October 2020, the Environmental Education Foundation in Denmark awarded Blue Flag certification to eight Indian beaches.

These eight beaches include Shivrajpur in Gujarat, Puri Golden Beach in Odisha, Kasargod and Padubidri in Karnataka, Ghoghla in Diu, Rishikonda in Andhra Pradesh, Kappad in Kerala and Radhanagar in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Blue Flag Certificate is given to those beaches which are safe, clean, and eco-friendly.
