Ratan Tata holds a degree in Architecture from Cornell University and later pursued the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He started his career at Tata Group in 1962 by working on the shop floor of Tata Steel, shoveling limestone and handling the blast furnace.
Under his leadership, Tata Group saw significant growth, including the acquisition of global brands like Jaguar Land Rover, Corus, and Tetley.
Ratan Tata is a licensed pilot and was the first Indian to fly the F-16 Falcon fighter jet in 2007.
He donated $50 million to Harvard Business School, which helped establish the Tata Hall for Executive Education.
