NASA has released an audio clip that represents actual sound waves emanating from the black hole.
That particular black hole is at the center of the Perseus galaxy cluster, more than 200 million light years away.
The sound itself is a result of pressure waves sent out by the black hole.
black hole caused ripples in the cluster’s hot gas that could be translated into a note some 57 octaves below middle C, NASA
Because the actual sound was so low, scientists had to raise the frequency quadrillions of times to make it audible.
